Am I Trusting God?

I'm realizing after prayer and being around other prophetic people that there has been a constant theme that I've been hearing about myself and that is I need to completely trust God and that I need to be still and know that He is God. Trust is a firm belief in the reliability, truth, or ability of someone or something. The biblical definition of Trust is   the confident, active reliance on God's character and promises, rather than on human strength or understanding. I often quote the scripture Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all thy heart and lean not unto thine own understanding but in all of your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your pathway. Out of my mouth I say that I trust God and I tell myself I trust God but, in my heart, it tells a different story. Sometimes I allow what I see to override what God said. What does that look like. I can tell myself all day that I trust, I know you can do it God and then when a hard situation comes, I begin to worry and ...

I’m Still Here!

What’s good??? Yall miss me??? I’m back! I’m Forreal this time. This year’s theme…..(drum roll please) CONSISTENCY!  I am going to finish what I start. Your girl in the past was heavy on the procrastination and that’s not what we are about here in 2024. Can yall believe that it’s 2024 already??? Time is flying for sure. Okay? Okay I know yall want to know WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?? Chill out, relax we gon get there lol. I have been here but let me tell you. God has been taking me on a journey. A journey of true deliverance and healing. This process has had its up and downs. More ups though. But non the less it has been a process. I have been in awe as to how God has been working in my life. I have been listening to Him and doing the things that he’s been telling me. The joy and the freedom that has come out of it has been amazing.  Okay! Where do I begin? I have so much to talk about. So I will be dropping back to back blogs and I am going to be vlogging as well. God has now ...

My Cycles

Chill! Chill! I know it’s been a minute. Your girl is finally back where she belongs! I’ve missed you all. I’ve started a few posts but didn’t feel great posting them. This one is one I needed to post. I pray and hope that this resonates with at least one person.  As we are in this final quarter of the year, I’ve begun to reflect on the year I’ve had so far. This year has been a year of tremendous change for me. If I’m being honest in the beginning, I didn’t think I was going to make it. The road ahead just looked way too hard for me. I honestly didn’t think I even had the strength to go through. Keyword: “I”. I didn’t have the strength but where I felt weak God made me strong (Joel 3:10). This has been a true healing journey for me. I’ve watched God take me through every moment of pain in my life and help me process through. In my isolation, I was able to hear his voice more clearly. He showed me different areas in my life that I needed to change. He helped me to be bolder and cre...

God blessed me!

Listen!!!!! God is so good! The way God showed up this week for me. I am so amazed. So let me tell you about my week. I always said that I would be fully transparent with this blog. So first of all, let me tell you. I had been on a raw food for a little over 3weeks and decided to give myself a break. Man I didn't go too crazy during the weekend. I still had vegan food but it was cooked. I had some lime chips that I had been craving for. My original plan was to go back on my raw food on Monday. Monday comes and I go back on it because I got blessed with a new juicer and a spiralizer that I had been wanting. So, of course I had to try a new dish.  The dish was really good. I had it with a side of lime chips (this is where I realized I messed up). LOL!!! A few chips turned into a whole bag (I'm so ashamed) LOL!!!  I go to sleep feeling like I did something real bad. I wake up and then I go to work. All of a sudden, I get this text message from my son with a coupon for Zaxby's....

Living The Raw Life

Heeeeeeeeeey!!! I’m back again with another one y’all!! I appreciate each and everyone of you for taking your time out to read my blog! I pray that they’ve been blessing you!!! Okay! So your girl has embarked on something new. God has definitely been orchestrating my year. God has been slowly changing my eating. How He did it was crazy 😜. God has me on a RAW FOOD DIET!!! This has been a tremendous change for me. I LOVE FOOD!!! I have a special relationship with food. I love experimenting with different foods and it just makes me happy LOL!!! So me being on a raw food diet has been interesting. I haven’t quite  got for the flavors right. It’s still enjoyable. Definitely a very interesting journey. My reason for being on this diet is because I had been having some not so good lab results. They were getting worst and on top of that I had high blood pressure. The diagnosis that they were  trying to give me I feel like I’m too young for. Of course like anything else I DIDN’T...

My Jar is full!

Man! The last couple of weeks have been interesting to say the least. For those that don’t know I have been on a raw food diet for a few weeks now. It has definitely been a challenge but I have seen a tremendous change in myself. Just having the self discipline to even embark on this journey has truly been God orchestrated. It has been some serious detoxing going on. My life has changed and I’m loving it. Listen this one is a long one. Enjoy 😉. Whenever you do this type of diet, you detox not only your body but you detox mentally as well. The last two weeks I have experienced crazy anxiety beyond what I’ve ever experienced. That is one of the side effects so I had to go through it. I couldn’t talk to anyone about it because what I was going through was more so spiritual than anything. Last night I allowed myself to feel whatever it was. The feeling that I was feeling was “grief”. I stood against my kitchen wall and I began to talk to God about what I was feeling. I told God I was tire...

Chapter 38!!!!!!!!

Listen!! Your girl just turned 38!! I am soooo grateful to God to see another year that wasn’t promised. I am so excited about this chapter in my life. I just feel grown grown (LOL).  No Forreal!! God is getting ready to blow my mind even more than He already has. The day before my birthday I was driving to Guthrie (for work) and I just began to think of how God moved in my life at thirty-seven. Thirty-seven for me was my year of trusting God and Obedience. God said that He wanted to get ALL of the glory out of my life. He literally wouldn’t allow me to ask anyone for anything. Can you imagine needing something so bad but you can’t ask anybody?  I remember laying in my bed one night and telling God. I’m not going to worry about it, I’m going to put it in your heads. I trust you. The next morning God came through and so much more. I didn’t know that, that very moment was God starting the process of me depending solely on Him. There were decisions that I had to make that ...
